On today’s episode I interview Marianne Duquette Cuozzo on her personal experience battling cancer not once but 3 times as she was diagnosed twice with hodgekins lymphoma in 1994 and 1997 and then with breast cancer in 2014. She talks about her journey as she faced each diagnosis and series of treatments head on, hearing the news that she may never be able to have children and eventually having to undergo a double masectomy without reconstruction due to multiple infections, this was one of the hardest things Marianne has had to do in her life. She shares with us the emotional and mental pain she struggled with as she continuously worked to love herself and her new body image after the effects of cancer. Most incredibly Marianne shares her journey and emotions though her artwork which she posts on her media platforms to let other women know that they are not alone.

Marianne is an artist, mother, cancer advocate and cancer survivor. She aspires to empower women through her artwork and is currently writing a book which she will further use to share her journey and strength.
